Domaine Joel Delaunay

A word from the winemaker,
In the Delaunay family, we are winemakers from father to son. 5 generations have followed one another to make this Domaine what it is today.
Formerly a mixed farming operation, it was in 1965 that the Estate really took
shape with the installation of my father Joël Delaunay to devote himself solely
to viticulture and the marketing of his first bottles in 1970. Years after years,
he restructured and enlarged the vineyard and will begin its first export sales in the early 1980s. 1992 saw the construction of a new modern winemaking cellar with a stainless steel vat room in anticipation of my future arrival on the Estate.
In 1998, after having followed a wine training course in the Bordeaux region, I
moved to the Domaine and succeeded my father in 2003 with my wife Marie
at my side, both wishing to extend this family tradition , develop our property
and to model our know-how on our requirements .
In 2015, we inaugurated a new bottling, storage and office building and we
equip ourselves with a completely new technical and modern bottling line in
order to satisfy our various markets with screw capping.
